The high-profile state visit is strategically split across three major Indian hubs to balance cultural, political, and commercial objectives:
- Bodh Gaya (May 30): The tour commences with a spiritual visit to the historic site of Bodh Gaya, underscoring the deep, ancient shared Buddhist heritage that binds the two nations.
- New Delhi (June 1): President Hlaing will hold formal, delegation-level bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sign key agreements. He will also address and engage with captains of industry at a dedicated Business Forum.
